Well I posted 4 new hairs on Saturday -


Anya and Oriya - simple yet stylish ponytail and pigtail. Selu Unbound - A free styled version of the Selu, and Breathless - similar to Chaos with the hair swept to one side.

News!

Well I was able to post those hairs Chaos and Selu, they are up with my new vendors in all their glory. :) I am starting to go through all my hairs to get them all updated to the entire 55 color set. I hope to do approx 4 hairs a day so hopefully it will go quickly. Hyacinthe, Guinevere, Ceridwen, and Julia have all been updated to 55 colors tonight!

I made two hairs as well, they will be posted for the weekend... no sneak peaks as of yet! Sorry guys.

Well I was going to post new hair

I *was* going to post two new hairs in the store for Tuesday, but with the grid all messed up with the replicating objects and scripts being turned off.... 1) My servers weren't responding, 2) my vendors didn't work, and when scripts *did* come back, I found that 3) I couldn't upload pictures. So I will try again tomorrow.

I tried to show off the new colors in a few of the pictures. Anyway -
Chaos is a large convoluted mass of hair, its just gorgeous the way it flows over your back. It also has twisted flexis, just experimenting with the look of them.

Selu reminded me of a Native American type hairstyle with the bound hair by the ears, so I named it after a Native American goddess of the sea. Its a deliciously short and choppy look and it moves beautifully.

These will be available in 55 colors at my shop in the Rainforest as soon as the grid settles down a bit.

Updates!

Well I have been busy, unfortunately not making new hair :/.

I have 16 new hair colors! I really wanted to make some more natural looking blond hair, and I liked the techique so much I expanded my line! I now have 55 colors! My new blonds are Sandy Blond, Honey Blond, Cinnamon Blond, Golden Blond, Amber Blond. Two new browns - Caramel Brown and Walnut Brown. Three wild reds: Fire Red, Ginger Red, Russet Red. A new elemental color - Lightning (my new fave). And finally 5 skunked hairs - pink, purple, white, red, and blue. They will be available with my next hairs and I will slowly incorporate them into the older hairs as well.

I also have new vendor for the new updated hairs, I am hoping to alleviate the problems of people buying the wrong hair color with it... *crosses fingers*.

I hope to get out at least two hairs for Monday night, and possibly 2 more later in the week.

A new sim in the works?

Well my prim limit on my sim is rapidly approaching, and I really need the room... so I am planning on a sim in the near future. I just have to get a few RL things squared away before I make the big leap. It will be nice though, to take some of the script and prim stress off my current sim.

Whats the new sim gonna look like? Well thats a surprise ;)

New Hair: Tweed

Well I had fun at a British styled pub the other day, and it inspired me to make this hair. Tweed is a medium length flexi hair sporting a color tintable hat. Check it out in my store!

Well I posted a whole bunch of new hair on Monday, took Tuesday off, and really wanted to get out something new by now. But with the relatively short grid crash on Wed, I went offline and did some stuff round the house. And tonight I was gone for the majority of it. But I have new things in the works! Well I have three new hairstyles for today, and I forgot to post the last hairstyle I made... so here they all are.

Introducting Brigit: A wonderfully styled hair that is pulled up in a high ponytail which cascades down your back.

Laced Up: A curious lil updo with a color changeable ribbon laced amongst the curls.

Rhiannon: A long silky hair pinned back with two color changeable barrettes.

And finally Nadia: A very prim and businesslike coif with the hair tied on the right side and cascading over the shoulder. Ribbon is color changeable.

Two new hairs!

I have two new ones out today-
Artemis - This is a followup to the original Athena hair. This particular hairstyle sports some cute little pigtails. If you though Athena was big, bold, and beautiful check out the sexy stylish Artemis.

Amaterasu - Hair with a Japanese influence. The hair is pulled back from the face in a small bun, adorned with an intricate hairpiece. The ribbons on the hair piece are mildly flexi and color changeable :P. Soft bangs frame the face... intricate yet simple.

Roped - Pigtails with a twist!

Hey all! Wanted to try something a bit different -
Introducting Roped: Cute little pigtails with a twist! These are not your typical pigtails. If you look carefully the hair actually is pulled back into a low ponytail, which is then twisted into a rope. Two ends of the rope are clipped into small pigtails! Clips are scripted to color change, comes in 39 colors to truly customize your look!

Gaia - the oh so lovely flexi

Well, I said I would post new releases on here, so heres my latest! Its called Gaia, and is a long finely detailed hair held back with two twisted pieces of hair tied in a ribbon. Its got a flower child vibe about it, with the hair cascade both over the shoulders and down the back. Comes in 39 colors to truly customize your look!

Added 11 new textures!

After a flurry of new hair postings I took a mini break to develop some more hair textures and to bring back a few that had died. Unfortunately no pictures :( but check them out in my store! I added baby blue, blue, burned gold, burnt umber, cotton candy, hot pink, snow white, white, steel, turquoise, and... at the request of lovely miss Moodii... red streaked. That brings me up to a total of 39 colors! My last four hairs have been updated with the 11 textures. (When I say 'died' I mean I flubbed up in Photoshop and didn't save it properly, so I could never match the color again when I was developing my alpha hair later on)

First Post!

Well this is my first blog, I hope y'all like it :). Why did I create it? Well I run a business in Second Life called Goldie Locks hair and I also run a sim/island called The Rainforest. I wanted a place to show my SL creations, keep people updated about my sim, and maybe post other interesting SL things :).

In terms of my real life (RL), I am 26 yr old female living down in TX. I spend my nights on SL hanging with friends, playing Tech Warfare, and making hair. Its a fun place to hang, I get the artistic bug itched with making hair (otherwise I think I would have renovated The Rainforest sim for a fourth?? time!).
