Lulu - Another Final Fantasy inspired hairstyle, an updo with twin braids down the length of the back
Eden - Loose and curly style with a large braid
Jolie Superlong - At a customers request, the Jolie with a superlong braid.

Visit Mexico!

Well opening day has finally arrived! I was working on a project over at the Visit Mexico sims from December to about mid-March. Lots of work and today's the day it opens to the public!!!

From the official press release:

Experience Mexico in Second Life (SL) like never before. Thrill to the exciting zip line ride through the rainforest canopy. Soar over the beautiful Misol Ha Falls and view the ruins of Palenque by hang glider. Marvel at the Olmec heads in La Venta Park. Explore Tulum’s beaches and ruins by horseback. Shop for beautiful Mexican artifacts in the colorful city of Campeche. Everywhere you look there is something new and exciting to do and see when you Visit Mexico!

The wonders of Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Campeche and Tabasco, the other four states that make up Visit Mexico Second Life, were added on to Chichen Itza, which was inaugurated in 2007 and has been visited by thousands of virtual tourists.

The inclusion of these four states in Second Life, and the opening of the two Sims in which they are located (Visit Mexico 2 and Visit Mexico 3), will enable visitors to become familiar with the major attractions of southeastern Mexico, and enjoy a special tour that goes beyond the imagination.

Two new and updates!

Well with windlight coming out soon and performance just dismal on my machine, I picked up a new computer and put it together last weekend! Never actually built one out of parts before but it turned out great. Windlight (which I can now run) works great and looks great! Unfortunately a lot of my editing software and vendor templates were on the old one, so it was a bit of a wrestling match to get these done :)!

Anyway, on to the hair!
Naughty - Long and wavy, a sweet look using sculpties!
Cheyenne - A curly ponytail with messy bangs!

I also retextured Harem Girl by customer request... it is now offered in the full range of colors, including 'tipped' hairs! More hairs will be retextured like this in the future! (This hair can be found in the super longs section)

After about 2 months in hiatus, I am BACK. I was working on a large sim build (I will post pictures when its open to the public) but its nice to be back to making hair again!

On to the hair! Four new ones for y'all:

Sunshine - Waves of long cascading slightly curly hair held back from the face with a bun. Just an adorable look
Emma - Short messy bob, ultra sweet and sexy!
Avalon - Super long ponytail, has two versions, one with a chain hair piece and one without.

A glimpse of the new store!

Well I realized I never posted the 'after' picture of the renovations to the store! The move went off without a hitch, I just always forget just how many hairs I have :) Took a little bit longer to move them all than I thought.

Here ya go!

Goldie Locks is closing! ... Temporarily :)

I have been a bit quiet lately due to other projects, but its time I made this announcement... Anyone who's visited the sim recently can tell there are changes afoot... Simplicity has moved out already and Daeskins has signs up! At the end of the month, Thurs Jan 31st, I will be shutting down the sim to plunk down a new build for Goldie Locks. Hopefully I can make the transition smooth and quick and have it up by the weekend. The store will be nearly double in size, feature a larger and more distinctive (and organized) clearance hair section, the hair camping and lucky chairs will be moved to better locations, and there will actually be a wall for the mens section (and hairs in clearance for them too!) :). Plus on top of that there will be much needed room to expand! I am hoping to release a few hairs at the same time or soon after depending on schedules.

Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to a bevy of talented creators and friends, Daequix (Daeskins), Moodii (Simplicity), and Itchy (IT's for men). Many will ask why.... simply put, we just got too big! Everyone worked so hard that we simply outgrew the prim allotment on the sim. So we have to part ways, but I am sure everyone will move on to bigger and better things. :). Jed (Pop Culture Classics) will be staying on the sim in a small store near the entrance.

As the day approaches I post notifications to the inworld groups and the subscribe o matic group. When the sim reopens there will be updated hairs in the clearance section and lucky chairs!

P.S. Some have noticed that build is off on the sim at this time, the new store will feature a build area partitioned from the main store. I have had too many issues leaving build 'on' for the entire sim. We shall see how it works out!

Serra - A double superlong ponytail version of Harem Girl... twin ponytails with colorable changeable bands with hair that brushes the floor. Sultry and striking!

Wild - That was the only way to describe this superlong ponytail! A metal band holds a high long ponytail that whips in all directions, perfect for your favorite club!

Sapphire - A low slung superlong ponytail cascading down in layers, suitable for all occasions!

Five new ones!

Brooklyn - This long and straight hair features two long braids framing the face. A startling and dramatic style.
Destiny - A long and striking look that has the hair loosely gathered back from the face.
Nina - A long and loose curly hairstyle.
Persephone - My favorite of the bunch, this over the shoulder hair ends in a knotted loose flexi :).
