Hair Fair 2009!

Its that time of year again!! Hair Fair!!

I have 5 hairs Hair Fair this year These styles will be available June 20 through July 4th at the Hair Fair.
Claudia - Short and choppy, my favorite of the bunch!
Maggie - Long and curled, with a braid holding back 1/2 of the hair from the face.
Savannah - Long and straight style, ultra sleek
Emily - Banded and braided style :)
Alexis - Beehive updo with colorchanging sticks

The demos are available at Hair Fair, in my store inworld and on XstreetSL . After Hair Fair is over they will be available back in my main store on the Nantli Xolal sim. The hairs Maggie and Emily have 50% of proceeds benefiting Locks of Love charity. Pricing is 200L for a pack and 1000L for the all color pack.

Also I am giving the style 'Muriel' out as a freebie at hair fair! Pick it up when you visit!!

Survival Guide to Hair Fair:
If you decide to go on the first few days of Hair Fair, expect a TON of people, lots of lag, and some sim crashes. Please be patient and polite to others at the Hair Fair. You can improve both your own lag and the lag of others by reducing the number of attachments and scripts you are wearing. There are some special free low lag avatars at each of the entry points, please grab one if you can! Collect all the demos first, try them out on a different sim and then go back for your purchases. Good luck!

Since I missed the monthly lucky/camp chair switchout, I am going to test out a Midnight Mania system and a Lucky Cupcake till the end of the month! There is one prize in each of the Midnight Mania (total of 5) and two prizes in the Cupcake. Check them out where the lucky chairs were! Lucky chairs will be back next month!

New Release time at Goldie Locks!

----New Colors!-----
Wow its been a long time since I released anything! What have I been working on? New Hair Colors! I have been wanting to expand my color set for the longest time and have finally done it! I now have 163 or so colors to chose from! Of the 92 original colors, about 1/3 of them no longer available, some were just too similar or simply didn't work with the new way I did the textures. Pretty much every one of the original 92 colors have been tweaked or changed in some way, so PLEASE check the demo board by the door to see what colors you like and what packs they are in! The new colors come in packs of 8 colors, with 4 natural and 4 tipped, or 12 colors for the funky, skunked, or tipped packs. The prices are staying the same, 200L per pack and 1000L for the all color.

Feel free to give me feed back on the new colors... I hope I maintained a good range of colors so everyone can find something they like! I will slowly be converting all the vendors in the store to these new colors in the future months! (Its going to take me a while!)

Retiring 100 hair styles from my current inventory! Starting November 1st and running till November 30th I will have the 100 styles on the south wall of my shop (right wall from the entrance, behind the clearance store). They will be marked down 1/2 from the original price and will be gone forever when the sale is over!

Hurricane Ike

EDIT: 9/17/08 My power and internet are back, woot! Thank you to everyone for your well wishes! I think I have taken care of all the backlog of ims, if you still need help please IM me in world! Take care everyone!

Unfortunately I have been affected by Hurricane Ike, I didn't get a chance to wrap things up in the store and put up notices before I lost power. For all inworld IMs after Friday afternoon, I am not ignoring you, they are all going to my email and I will answer each and everyone of them when I get power back (and internet). Right now I am borrowing a friends computer at his house to put up this notice.

I and my friends are ok, my place is ok, there is just a lot of downed trees and debris all over the place. There are estimates we will be without power for 1 day to 2 weeks.... So I will take care of things in world as soon as I can. My apologies to everyone!!

Hair Fair 2008 is finally here! First off I want to say that it was great working with all the committee members and getting to be a part of the development of it! It was just great to meet everyone and work with such creative and wonderful people :D.....

Hair Fair runs from August 22nd to Sept 8th. I made 5 new hairstyles for the fair which are ONLY going to be available at my booth on the Rezzable Create sim, AKA 'Red' sim (HERE). You can check them out NOW by checking out my demos on OnRez (HERE) or by tping to my main store and checking out the demos there in the new releases section. When hair fair is over (Sept 7th) these styles will go up for sale at my main store, only demos will be available at that location until then. Plus I have 3 freebie packs of hair at my Hair Fair booth as well, so don't forget to pick those up! So get on down to the Hair Fair when it opens and check out all the great designers! Its going to a great cause! Big thanks to Rezzable for letting us use their sims!

Visit Mexico!

Well opening day has finally arrived! I was working on a project over at the Visit Mexico sims from December to about mid-March. Lots of work and today's the day it opens to the public!!!

From the official press release:

Experience Mexico in Second Life (SL) like never before. Thrill to the exciting zip line ride through the rainforest canopy. Soar over the beautiful Misol Ha Falls and view the ruins of Palenque by hang glider. Marvel at the Olmec heads in La Venta Park. Explore Tulum’s beaches and ruins by horseback. Shop for beautiful Mexican artifacts in the colorful city of Campeche. Everywhere you look there is something new and exciting to do and see when you Visit Mexico!

The wonders of Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Campeche and Tabasco, the other four states that make up Visit Mexico Second Life, were added on to Chichen Itza, which was inaugurated in 2007 and has been visited by thousands of virtual tourists.

The inclusion of these four states in Second Life, and the opening of the two Sims in which they are located (Visit Mexico 2 and Visit Mexico 3), will enable visitors to become familiar with the major attractions of southeastern Mexico, and enjoy a special tour that goes beyond the imagination.

Two new and updates!

Well with windlight coming out soon and performance just dismal on my machine, I picked up a new computer and put it together last weekend! Never actually built one out of parts before but it turned out great. Windlight (which I can now run) works great and looks great! Unfortunately a lot of my editing software and vendor templates were on the old one, so it was a bit of a wrestling match to get these done :)!

Anyway, on to the hair!
Naughty - Long and wavy, a sweet look using sculpties!
Cheyenne - A curly ponytail with messy bangs!

After about 2 months in hiatus, I am BACK. I was working on a large sim build (I will post pictures when its open to the public) but its nice to be back to making hair again!

Well I realized I never posted the 'after' picture of the renovations to the store! The move went off without a hitch, I just always forget just how many hairs I have :) Took a little bit longer to move them all than I thought.

I have been a bit quiet lately due to other projects, but its time I made this announcement... Anyone who's visited the sim recently can tell there are changes afoot... Simplicity has moved out already and Daeskins has signs up! At the end of the month, Thurs Jan 31st, I will be shutting down the sim to plunk down a new build for Goldie Locks. Hopefully I can make the transition smooth and quick and have it up by the weekend. The store will be nearly double in size, feature a larger and more distinctive (and organized) clearance hair section, the hair camping and lucky chairs will be moved to better locations, and there will actually be a wall for the mens section (and hairs in clearance for them too!) :). Plus on top of that there will be much needed room to expand! I am hoping to release a few hairs at the same time or soon after depending on schedules.

Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to a bevy of talented creators and friends, Daequix (Daeskins), Moodii (Simplicity), and Itchy (IT's for men). Many will ask why.... simply put, we just got too big! Everyone worked so hard that we simply outgrew the prim allotment on the sim. So we have to part ways, but I am sure everyone will move on to bigger and better things. :). Jed (Pop Culture Classics) will be staying on the sim in a small store near the entrance.

As the day approaches I post notifications to the inworld groups and the subscribe o matic group. When the sim reopens there will be updated hairs in the clearance section and lucky chairs!

P.S. Some have noticed that build is off on the sim at this time, the new store will feature a build area partitioned from the main store. I have had too many issues leaving build 'on' for the entire sim. We shall see how it works out!

If you can't get into the sim, keep trying! I have noticed that the sim struggles a bit with a lot of people, so I capped the number of people allowed in at just 24 so everyone can still move around without too much trouble!

New Release time at Goldie Locks!
I have only one hair for you this week BUT I have a few updates! :)

The newest release at Goldie Locks on the Nantli Xolal sim is Angelica, a beautiful long and lovely hair that is held back from the face in a cascading ponytail.
All my new release hairs are sold in over 23 color packs (93 colors total!) for 200L a piece at my store (Goldie Locks) in the Nantli Xolal sim! All hairs are as Mod/Copy/No Trans! Mega Color Packs are available for 1000L!

Update #1: Six hairs, Anya, Dalia, Sharon, Lorelei, Nikki, and Hyacinthe have been moved into clearance. Now all are priced at 50L a color pack or 330L for the all color pack!

Update #2: Four hairs have been moved to the 10L Hair wall in the clearance section.... 55-82 colors for the low low price of 10L, can't beat that deal!

Update #3: The two lucky chairs have been updated with all new sets of hair!

New Release time at Goldie Locks!
I have 8 hairs and two updates for you this week!

Aisha - This long and lovely style features a high ponytail headpiece
Rockstar - a slightly droopy mohawk - I knew I would do one of these sooner or later! :)
Elizabeth - A cute medieval updo featuring tons of braids.
Rebecca - A simple ponytail, instant classic for around the town.
Rebecca II - is the Rebecca with two pretty braids weaved into the ponytail.
Natalie- Sports two long and lovely pigtails.

Update #1: I have added two more hair packs to my selection, about 12 textures total. The new ones are White Tipped and Snow White Tipped, as requested by a customer. Each pack has the baseline color, plus red, blue, purple, pink, black, and raven tips :). I think this ups me to about 95 colors total *falls over*.

Update #2: There is an issue with the Nantli Xolal sim (where my store is on). There is incredible lag spikes, usually as there are more people tping in and out. A restart doesn't fix, its an internal server issue on LL's side. To keep down a lot of the issues I have limited the allowed number of people in the store sim to 18 at a time. Please bear with me through this.

Bad weekend - no new release

Well I lost internet for a good 6 hrs on Sat, so I was unable to finish up and get out my hair release this week. There will just be a mega release next week. :)

In addition there is something wrong with the Nantli Xolal sim.... I know, and I have talked to LL support. They say its a known problem and a fix is coming this Wed *sighs*.... That really doesn't help me when the sim either crashes 3-4 times a day or is just slow as molasses the rest of the time TODAY (and the entire weekend for that matter). I am a bit tired with dealing with it, especially when the sim crashes and you don't even realize it till 20 min later cause chat still works.

Group IMs: I know there is an issue with group chat and people calling out letters for the lucky chair. For now I have started a Goldie Locks Cafe group for the casual chatters to move to and still get updates. I am on the fence with the Subscribe O'Matic, want to research it a bit more to see if its want I want to use.

What happened to SL?

Well I finally make it back from a trip and happily log in to find.... about 15 ims from people missing hair they purchased. To top THAT off, it seems as though IM to email is on the fritz too, because I am missing a bunch of messages (from additional messages people have sent).... After logging in I get about midway through remedying all the bad inventory transfers, when my ability to transfer stuff stops working too. And now I cannot get back in!!! For crying out loud, what happened to SL???!?

To my customers: I will fix any 'bad' purchases, please just IM me and keep IMing me if you don't hear back from me :)

*****UPDATE* As of this time the build has been removed by the builder. I am just glad this experience is over.******

Well I always figured that I would be copied on what I made for hair... nope, my first issue is a structural build of mine. Remember the Chichen Itza build I made for the Mexico Board of Tourism on the Visit Mexico sim (previous post down below)? It was done to promote the vote for Chichen Itza as a real life new Seven Wonders of the World, a worldwide vote will determine the new list on 7/7/07. Well, my build and all its little details was neatly copied by a oscarpc21 Khalifa on the Mexico sim. Details and pics are below.

The background is that I was contacted by an Ektor Carnell a while back in June asking if I would sell him the pyramid to place in his own sim Mexico. I said no, it belongs to the Mexico Board of Tourism and I have no right to sell it (since I was contracted to do that work). I thought that was the end of it. Well today I log in to find that a chinobi Boa had griefed the Visit Mexico sim and was banned as a result... blocking access to the pyramid and shouting at everyone. So as I was chatting with the project lead a few people tp in really quick and tp out, one after taking a picture. We thought it was weird and we linked them back to the Mexico sim, so we went to check out the Mexico sim... and wow... every little detail on mine is replicated except for the inner temple. I originally thought they had taken the texture as well since its so blurry, but on closer inspection its not the same. Just... kinda shocked, so of course I was a bit upset :) so after snapping a few pics we confront Chinobi (El Presidente of the Mexico sim), much yelling back and forth (I might post the chat logs later, still undecided on that). And in the middle of it he deletes the pyramid, but later on I find out its back up again.

All in all his justification seemed to be that he's just copying the RL pyramid not my SL one, and since I am not mexican for some reason I am not allowed to recreate the build (or speak with him for that matter). *rolls eyes* So ya thats my drama filled evening... yay. To be honest I don't care if they recreate the chichen itza, its not the point, the point is a good majority of the details I put into it got copied as well, and thats just ridiculous.

Onyx - Choppy and flexi, this hair looks and moves beautifully!
Madison - Waist length hair for a seductive look.

I been busy!!

Well I know that there hasn't been much released this month, thats about to change with a release in a few days... BUT I wanted to show you why I've been so busy! :)

First - I have acquired a new sim on 4/24 called Tzopelic Chantli and started working on developing it into another rainforest themed sim. I have a bunch of renters in it already and its coming along nicely. I also made Nantli Xolal a commercial only sim, so the lag is a bit better with less script and object load.
Next - For the last 3 weeks or so I have been working on a recreation of the Chichen Itza build, specifically the El Castillo pyramid, for the Mexico Board of Tourism. That opened up on Sunday 6/10 and has been doing pretty well. I made the pyramid and cenote (collapsed limestone cave) for it. It was a fun experience! Check it out if you are interested... its the Visit Mexico sim, and vote for Chichen to be one of the next 7 manmade wonders of the world.

Add to that a business trip over the last week and a fashion show on the fly and I have been one busy little hair designer! But no worries, new stuff is coming soon!

Vera - a cute lil bob just below the ears with little wisps framing the face.

Lilith - This hair is just wonderfully styled, lots of variation and texture in the back. Falls down to the mid back with two layered ponytails held in place with barrettes. My favorite of this batch.

Felicia - This hair is pulled back in a knot with curly hairs falling to just below the shoulders.

Hair Fair 2007!

All hair this week is being sold exclusively at the Hair Fair 2007! If you don't want to brave the crowds the hair will be available on April 14th in my main store.

Olivia: A Medium length style with some flexi, curly over the shoulder... a very unique look
Sweet Kisses: This one was based on my older Sweet Glow hairstyle, but its been given a complete overhaul with a whole new look, new braids, new bangs, and flexi ends! Ultra cute!
Nicole: Ahhh curls! This tangled mass of curls is held back away from the face with a few barrettes, falling to just above the shoulders. A few flexi strands to give it movement.
Sasha: A fall of flexi hair down to the lower back, knotted and held back from the face, spiked carefully for a cute look :)
Pheobe: Short and cute, with the tips styled away from the face to create a flattering look. No flexi in this one.

General updates: Big Changes in the stores these past few weeks! The courtyard got a little smaller, Simplicity and Daeskins got a little bigger, and we have a new mens clothing store moving in!! The Lucky Chair got updated, a new Lucky Chair was added, and 5 hairstyles (Layered Bun, Mia, Lizzy, Mary Jane, Mary Sue) were shifted to clearance.

To Look for: NEW TEXTURE PACKS! I have developed 15 new textures of browns, reds, and blonds, and will be working on tipped/frosted/burnt hairs over the weekend. IF you want a particular color let me know in an IM (soon), and I will see if I can make it! I will be sending out a 'test' sample to all Goldie Locks group members later around Monday or so to get some feedback.

One exhausted lil hair maker

Wow what a week, I updated a good 2/3 of my store to the new color packs, its taking a bit of time to do. But the sims running much better after loosing 1000 or so scripts. The rest will get done a bit slower in the upcoming weeks.

Had a Fashion show today spanning my two sims, for those that missed it we will have round two tomorrow :) Featured in the show were the following releases (except Roger who was a carryover from last week). The audience was in the Rainforest sim and there were NO crashes *gasps*!

Raina - Long and lovely, draping down your back with a soft fall of hair over your eye.
Porscha - Ultra couture, this stunning bob starts out long and shortens quickly in the back.
Daisy - A cute 'bedhead' tousled style, mid back in length.

For the men!
Roger - A spikey short hairstyle
Simon - My ultimate favorite mens style, short and sweet.

I need to get demo hair colors up soon for the new packs, and keep your eyes open for the beginnings of tipped hair colors!

New Releases! New Color Packs! New Vendors!

Well it seems as though the vendors I am using really aren't scalable... the sim is lagging horribly more and more with every release and I need to fix it. And its odd, I can have 25 people in the sim with no lag, and then only 13 and horrid lag.. oh well.

I will be starting to switch the store into color packs with this weeks release kicking it all off.... approximately 3-5 hairs per pack priced at 200L a piece. Hopefully this will allow for a better shopping experience for all.....

Well I am taking off a bit this week, so no new updates... I need a break! However I am working on several brand new releases for Valentines day, so keep your eyes peeled on the shop!

I shifted two womens hairs, Twisted and Lil Bob into the Clearance Section of the store. Now the individual hairs are priced at 50L and the All Color packs are 330L.

AND I posted some new clothing at a very reasonable price in my shop... Flowers and Lace - a simple elegant evening dress and a Blue Tank Top. Just was fiddling around with clothing in general....wrinkles, highlights, and patterns etc. :)

Hey folks! This weeks update has 3 womens hair styles and two mens (tell your guy friends!)

Velvet - This is a mass of hair held loosely back from the face, giving a very soft, sultry look.
Jessica - A classic hairstyle, mid back length, with hair that frames the face beautifully.
Willow - A sleek, chic hairstyle that reaches mid back.

The two mens hairs are Kyle and Warrior, short and long respectively. I am trying to include a mens release every week from now on.

As always I updated the lucky chair :).

Kimmie - A short dramatic style with the hair swept over to one side, ending just below the ear.
Nila - For all you Jordan hairstyle lovers out there, this is a pigtail version. Super long and thick hair that flows beautifully.

This release featured four updos and one extra for all of you :)
Christine: This style features the hair pulled back in a bun surrounded by a braid. Simple, clean, and elegant.
Jade: The hair is pulled back into a high bun with cascading curls down the neck
Tiffany: This style features a sophisticated look with dramatic bangs and the hair pulled into a tight bunch of curls, held up with a barette.
Ruby: A small low bun tied with a large bow, with pretty lilies surrounding it.
Mia: A loosely curled look slightly above the shoulders.

Thanksgiving vacation delayed me a bit... This weeks update features cute lil pigtails!
Lara - Two low bunches of curls for that everyday look!
Yvette - Long slightly curled pigtals that move in the wind
Pixie - Short and sweet low pigtails - too cute!
Aurora - Long length high pigtails that frame the face

Sorry I missed making an update this past week, needed a bit of a break. Four long and lovelies for you all :)

Jordan - This is super long ankle length hair held back from the face in a tight bun.
Cleo - Held back from the face with a metallic clip. this hair is stylishly coifed to create an attractive look.
Justine - Big and beautiful style that reaches mid back.
Tousled - This hair is just tied in knots.

Four new ones for y'all -
Morgan - A flowing headscarf tries to tame this cascade of hair. Its big and moves wonderfully. :)
Wisteria - Perfect for that elegant night out, this short curly hair is held back with a headband of flowers.
Dalia - A more formal updo with a sprinkling of flowers in the the twist of hair.
Lorelei - A mass of curly hair held back from the face with a clip. Simple and stylish for any occasion.

Work on the new sim is ever continuing, but I am finally happy with the store setup right now. If you have ever visited my new place you would have seen this little empty courtyard area. Well I really wanted a thriving little marketplace going there, but I can't stand malls. I don't like charging for rent for the somewhat dubious return in sales and traffic for the renter. I have tried it with Moodii (Simplicity) and I feel its working out well, so I will be offering this space free of rent...Thats right, free. Theres a little notecard giver in each store which will give more details and restrictions.

Two have already been claimed, 4 remain! This will NOT be advertised save my own blog and this little notecard.

Braids!

Well I figured I might stick with the 'common theme' hairs for a bit (last week was ponytails) and for this update I bring you some lovely braids :).

Sophia - Long hair held back with twin braids tied low behind the head.
Mitya - The classic french braid, can't forget that!
Diana - A greek spin on the braid, curled about the top of the head.
Skadi - Simple and long, the braid is the headband in this style.

Find em in ma shop and try em with the demos :)

I mentioned it in my last post... but today we are officially open! We are now located in the Nantli Xolal sim. Any new hair posts will be there and the old store will close in a few days.

I have new hairs as well! A ponytail set of three - Hope, Faith, and Charity...

Hope is a high set ponytail that flows long and glamorously down your back.

Faith is an everyday mid level ponytail, my current favorite :). Good length and flows wonderfully as you move.

Charity is a low set ponytail, the shortest of the bunch. Calm and mellow to suit any outfit.

Well this is a bit scary to log into this evening, the Rainforest sim completely emptied of objects! So my store is down for a bit until the sim gets put back together again. Apparently its an unexpected bonus to the grid attack we had today. I know the sim will be fine in a few hours.... but wow, the place has never been this empty since I first got her :).

On other news with the store... new hair updates coming soon! I finally have the time to work on making hair again. I have completed updating my entire hair line to 55 colors. I am working on a new store (where all the new colors are posted) on a new sim! Thats right, I caved and got another on :). Its called Nantli Xolal - in the Aztec language it roughly translates to Motherland. I have been working with Moodii (Simplicity) and we are trying to have it open for next Monday or Tuesday. I still have a ton of stuff to put up there, so it will be a work all weekend thing to get it up and running in time :). No parades or heavy fanfare to announce it, just a quiet expansion. The rest of the sim will need further work, just getting the new store up for now.

Well I haven't posted any new hairs for about a full week now.... been extremely busy with a new project, so sorry about the lack of new hairstyles posted. The good news is that I am completely updating my entire line to the latest 55 textures set I have, which is much more of a tedious effort than I anticipated. I will try to start up with the regular updates soon, I promise!

Anya and Oriya - simple yet stylish ponytail and pigtail. Selu Unbound - A free styled version of the Selu, and Breathless - similar to Chaos with the hair swept to one side.

Well I was able to post those hairs Chaos and Selu, they are up with my new vendors in all their glory. :) I am starting to go through all my hairs to get them all updated to the entire 55 color set. I hope to do approx 4 hairs a day so hopefully it will go quickly. Hyacinthe, Guinevere, Ceridwen, and Julia have all been updated to 55 colors tonight!

I made two hairs as well, they will be posted for the weekend... no sneak peaks as of yet! Sorry guys.

I *was* going to post two new hairs in the store for Tuesday, but with the grid all messed up with the replicating objects and scripts being turned off.... 1) My servers weren't responding, 2) my vendors didn't work, and when scripts *did* come back, I found that 3) I couldn't upload pictures. So I will try again tomorrow.

For those that want a sneak preview - these are my newest -

I tried to show off the new colors in a few of the pictures. Anyway -
Chaos is a large convoluted mass of hair, its just gorgeous the way it flows over your back. It also has twisted flexis, just experimenting with the look of them.

Selu reminded me of a Native American type hairstyle with the bound hair by the ears, so I named it after a Native American goddess of the sea. Its a deliciously short and choppy look and it moves beautifully.

These will be available in 55 colors at my shop in the Rainforest as soon as the grid settles down a bit.

Well I have been busy, unfortunately not making new hair :/.

I have 16 new hair colors! I really wanted to make some more natural looking blond hair, and I liked the techique so much I expanded my line! I now have 55 colors! My new blonds are Sandy Blond, Honey Blond, Cinnamon Blond, Golden Blond, Amber Blond. Two new browns - Caramel Brown and Walnut Brown. Three wild reds: Fire Red, Ginger Red, Russet Red. A new elemental color - Lightning (my new fave). And finally 5 skunked hairs - pink, purple, white, red, and blue. They will be available with my next hairs and I will slowly incorporate them into the older hairs as well.

I also have new vendor for the new updated hairs, I am hoping to alleviate the problems of people buying the wrong hair color with it... *crosses fingers*.

I hope to get out at least two hairs for Monday night, and possibly 2 more later in the week.

Well my prim limit on my sim is rapidly approaching, and I really need the room... so I am planning on a sim in the near future. I just have to get a few RL things squared away before I make the big leap. It will be nice though, to take some of the script and prim stress off my current sim.

Whats the new sim gonna look like? Well thats a surprise ;)

Well I had fun at a British styled pub the other day, and it inspired me to make this hair. Tweed is a medium length flexi hair sporting a color tintable hat. Check it out in my store!

Well I have three new hairstyles for today, and I forgot to post the last hairstyle I made... so here they all are.

Introducting Brigit: A wonderfully styled hair that is pulled up in a high ponytail which cascades down your back.

Laced Up: A curious lil updo with a color changeable ribbon laced amongst the curls.

Rhiannon: A long silky hair pinned back with two color changeable barrettes.

And finally Nadia: A very prim and businesslike coif with the hair tied on the right side and cascading over the shoulder. Ribbon is color changeable.

I have two new ones out today-
Artemis - This is a followup to the original Athena hair. This particular hairstyle sports some cute little pigtails. If you though Athena was big, bold, and beautiful check out the sexy stylish Artemis.

Amaterasu - Hair with a Japanese influence. The hair is pulled back from the face in a small bun, adorned with an intricate hairpiece. The ribbons on the hair piece are mildly flexi and color changeable :P. Soft bangs frame the face... intricate yet simple.

Introducting Roped: Cute little pigtails with a twist! These are not your typical pigtails. If you look carefully the hair actually is pulled back into a low ponytail, which is then twisted into a rope. Two ends of the rope are clipped into small pigtails! Added 11 new textures!

After a flurry of new hair postings I took a mini break to develop some more hair textures and to bring back a few that had died. Unfortunately no pictures :( but check them out in my store! I added baby blue, blue, burned gold, burnt umber, cotton candy, hot pink, snow white, white, steel, turquoise, and... at the request of lovely miss Moodii... red streaked. That brings me up to a total of 39 colors! My last four hairs have been updated with the 11 textures. (When I say 'died' I mean I flubbed up in Photoshop and didn't save it properly, so I could never match the color again when I was developing my alpha hair later on)

Well this is my first blog, I hope y'all like it :). Why did I create it? Well I run a business in Second Life called Goldie Locks hair and I also run a sim/island called The Rainforest. I wanted a place to show my SL creations, keep people updated about my sim, and maybe post other interesting SL things :).

In terms of my real life (RL), I am 26 yr old female living down in TX. I spend my nights on SL hanging with friends, playing Tech Warfare, and making hair. Its a fun place to hang, I get the artistic bug itched with making hair (otherwise I think I would have renovated The Rainforest sim for a fourth?? time!).
